Faster, lower-power AVR® ATtiny MCUs from Microchip: 8-bit ATtiny 1617 MCUs with CIPs & 16 KB Flash
Microchip’s ATtiny1617 8-bit microcontrollers increase system throughput, lower power consumption and provide a 16 KB Flash memory.
The combination of an Event System Controller with Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) increases throughput by eliminating CPU overhead for peripheral communication, data transfers and intelligent decision-making. The on-chip Peripheral Touch Controller (PTC) simplifies the development of capacitive touch systems.
Whilst the CIPs support safety & monitoring, capacitive touch sensing and serial communications, picoPower® technology lowers sleep currents down to 100 nA. For added flexibility, the family also adds intelligent analog peripherals and pin- and code-compatibility with the ATtiny817 family.
Development Tools:
Development tools for the ATtiny1617 family simplify and accelerate the design process with online software configuration and development boards.
